I loved working with Brian on this film. He gave me the footage but had no idea what to do with it (he was a new filmmaker), so I wrote the entire thing with his feedback along the way. It was a truly joyful director/editor relationship! We did it on a shoestring budget, but the funder backed out at the last minute and it never got out into the world.

I’m proud of it as a reflection of my early work where I was trying to figure out how to write documentaries. Would I make different choices today? Yes! But every project I make, makes me :)
